Wolf 'Airturbo' Lamps

Were originally developed to meet the stringent requirements of the coal mining industry but present demands in the manufacture, transportation and storage of petro chemicals give rise to hazardous conditions in which these lamps are finding new and important applications.

The safety lamp provides safe lighting systems for inspection and maintenance work in areas where there is risk of fire or explosion from the presence of flammable liquids, gases and vapors.

Where even low voltage lighting systems are unacceptable or in extremely wet conditions this lamps unsurpassed degree of safety ensures that a high standard of general lighting can be reliably maintained. The construction of the lamp is such that it will function normally under water to depths of 20 metres.

For open light conditions the Sealed Beam version of this lamp is extensively used for metal and mineral mining and quarrying, tunnelling and civil engineering projects and increasing variety of applications where reliable illumination is required and compressed air is available.
